Hello Crowdholders,

Some good news! After participating in Starfleet’s Genesis Week, CrowdClick was accepted into the Starfleet Accelerator’s 4-week mentorship program. You can check out the article from AE where CrowdClick is mentioned. Feel free to watch the presentation (2:01:42 of the stream), for which Ethan gave on the final day of the program.

We envision a token toggle where you as a user can select which token to earn. As you know we are working with Matic.network’s sidechain for using ETH in the system. From us participating in Starfleet, we can potentially add AE as the second listed token on the application. As you may recall from our revenue model task, by adding more tokens we can add a listing fee and even brand the website colors representing those tokens. A way to bring “purchasing power” to cryptocurrencies in the scene.

Now what we need from you:

Play around with our mockup here. Place yourself in the shoes of a user and a publisher and click the appropriate buttons to navigate. Keep in mind this is desktop only, and the UX/UI will be responsive to mobile in the future application. You can zoom in or out to adjust the screen appropriate to fit your desktop.

Questions to consider:

  • Was the flow simple and understandable?

  • Anything important you feel we are missing?

  • Is there anything you would like changed?

Important:

After you place your comment, copy it and paste it as a comment on our Medium article here. This gives us more exposure from the content of this task. Also, don't forget to give us claps! :)

We look forward to your feedback!

Cheers,

CrowdClick Team

This site is looking great and i will say that it is quite the simplest site that i have come across in recent years, i cant wait for the site to be launched.

1. The flow was simple and understandable, even though some pics or words were missing, but from previous tasks, i already know what to expect great work.

2. i think since there are different types of ads (different categories) i think that there might be a need to separate them by categories so that it will easy to know what one is going to earn from each ad click.

3. for now, i think it is as good as to go. Because everything is working just fine.

Was the flow simple and understandable?

In my opinion yes, it is very easy and understandable, and it becomes enjoyable for any type of user, whether new or experienced. As someone already commented, the change of colour flow between cryptos is something special and novel, which makes it much more attractive.

Anything important you feel we are missing?

As always, everything can be better understood by going into more detail. Maybe you need to show details that don't seem relevant but that are relevant to the public. We could think of signs of identity and similar things, such as the icon of the page.

Is there anything you would like changed?

For me, what I see as the closest thing to change is the issue of the mechanism for tasks. Well, having to go backwards to get out of the current task and start another seems a bit robust. The logical thing would be that in the same tab of the current task there would be a link to go to the next one, or that directly a new tab would be opened each time a new task is started. I think we would save time and effort.

Hi Guys, Great job done. I must say that for a mock up this looks very impressive. The layout is very aesthetic and i liked how the color effect changes when you select ETH on top right corner.

Detailed feedback is following:

-Was the flow simple and understandable?

Flow is very intuitive. Right from the homepage to project landing page to proceeding with contests. Also the option to switch between tasks and campaigns and the data presented for running campaign. Also I like the fact that when we click on CrowdClick logo on top left corner we immediately go back to home page. This is useful if we are stuck in a place and want to go back.

-Anything important you feel we are missing?

You should try to customize this site for the users by adding History section where user can see the tasks he participated and what did he win. Also try to increase engagement level by sharing promo or teaser of upcoming tasks and giving users the option to bookmark them. So they connect regulalry to play live games and also track upcoming games.

-Is there anything you would like changed?

I think the site design needs further streamlining. I was using Brave browser and also tried with Chrome but i could not scroll down. This means I could not see the details under "Become a publisher" option.

Hope this helps. Waiting to see your platform go live, all the best!!

I like the idea of history section.

1. the flow as very simple and very straight forward, I don't know if it's just my laptop or because the site has not been fully launched but the site seems to be pretty fast, I like the flow because it is very straight forward even  for a newcomer also, very nice a and simple.

2. the site looks too centralised thus making the font a little bit too small maybe something can be done about it to make it better.

and also the site icon on the browser maybe it can be used so we can see it also instead of the sd sign.

3. I think that when you click on a task that opening it on a new tab would be better than just opening on the same tab, and then going back to the list of tasks again, this method will save time and also limit the data that would be used per tasks.

The title of this URL is "Earn 15 000 YUP"

Here is the definition of the work "earn" from the dictionary.

obtain (money) in return for labour or services.

In your instructions you state that clapping is one of the important details we should not forget to do. Please provide details on how you intend to verify that everybody has clapped.

the clapping is on the website. I recently wrote an article and I can see who clapped and how many times.

Hi guys! In your first task which is now expired you state

"Without further ado... Your job for this task:

Watch Ethan's 6-minute recording here"

You used the word "job" as a noun. Here are the first two definitions from a dictionary search on Google.

1. a paid position of regular employment.

2. a task or piece of work, especially one that is paid.

Did you pay all the people who spent 6 minutes watching your video?

In this task you are asking people to participate in UI testing which as you guys know is a profession and relatively well paid employment. Are you paying the market rate for such work and are you making contributions for social benefits? Many of the people participating may be from developing nations. They are full of hope and aspire to healthcare cover as we provide  in most European civilized countries. Europeans aspire to export this type of society to our friends in Africa, Asia and the rest of the world. If you are desperately trying to make some money here DO NOT LOSE HOPE because WE ARE WATCHING.

Crowd sourcing market research is nothing new. Brands used this trick by getting the public involved in slogan competitions back in the mid 20th Century. It is my opinion that getting the public to participate in competitions for slogans, graphic design, testing, market research etc. is a form of slavery because the majority of those people are working for free. I believe that this is not voluntary if the people are in desperate conditions financially. For example I recently analysed a gig on a graphic design crowdsourcing site in which 248 people desperately submitted designs for a "prize". if you take the "prize" of approx. 300 USD and divide it by the number of participants the overall remuneration of the human effort and attention to the brand is not enough for anybody to make a living even in a developing country. If this method is generalized for recruiting graphic designers then even the winner will eventually be sucked down towards an exploitative remuneration.

Could you have an example of how the process of earning will look like as well as how users are sorted as in which users are more sought after and earns the most. Or is there no difference in users that allow users to earn the same amount per activity.

after posting my response on the medium article I noticed that many persons have not done so too, we have about 10 comments here already but only 3 comments on the article, I think we need to do more than this, commenting on the tasks on medium will help everyone here as it will increase the exposure and thus increase in value of the token, and also to clap, maximum clap is 50 if we all give max then we will be doing more good to the community.

so let us all join hands to take this project forward.

I agree Naruto. Btw, did you see my link in the PYNK news for my article on medium. I have first hand experience that people on CH don't clap/share/comment on the other sites. Those are the things that get these start ups more exposure.

I wonder if part of the problem is, people aren't signed up for a Medium account. O ran into a similar problem trying to post a task reply on Steemit. I signed up but the process is in limbo. They say it may take 2wks due to large volume

as of when I posted my comment it was still as you left it no change has bee made since. so sad.

i got a notification that someone reported this comment as irrelevant, but I think that some persons need to be educated more about the use of crowdholding and why everything needs to be done well. if we cant support projects or tasks then we should not be here, we have to be more responsible here.

why would someone do that?

very good progress made so far.

1. since I have been following the project right from the first task the process was very easy to follow and understand, and I will say that for a new user I think that the process is also very easy to follow and understand, because the page has just the relevant information so it will be quite easy to follow.

2. so things that might be missing is to add more payment means and option so that those that are about to join outside the crypto community can also do that without any problem.

maybe you might need to show us some more detail like the page icon, site logo and motto and so on we can also comment on that also.

3. things to change might include:

a. i will say first the font to make it bigger, but since i suspect that it is not the main site i will say that this might have been looked into already.

b. i will say that after completing a task that out of the two options that comes up one should be next task, and it should take you to the next tasks without taking you to the tasks page, this will create a flow in the system and save time and data also.

c. i will say that you can make it function such that when a user click on a task it will open in a new page, with this after completing a task the user can select the next task to click and won't need to reload this page, this will save time and data also.

but the flow was good, it was really simple.

I finally booted up my desktop for this task! I find your site easy to navigate. The flow was simple and I like the 2 columns. The color variety is also pleasing to the eye. When you add colors for variuos tokens, that will be a plus.Folks will recognize red for example as CH. I do think, the writing was a little small. (My screen was full sized). There seems to be room on the page to make it bigger. I also didn't see a 'home' button, which would make it easier when doing more than one thing on the site. overall, it looks great and I can't wait for launch.

I checked out the article on Aeternity's Starfleet Accelerator's Programme and I like how they described Crowdclick. Also, I think some nice partnerships can be formed between the startups that were featured and some startups that have posted tasks over here. Gametribez, for instance, will do well with Galaxia. This is just an opinion though.

1. Yes, the flow was simple and understandable. I like the feature where the colours change to represent the crypto you toggle to. If YUP is added to the list, I'm assuming the colours will change to red then, right? Also, from visiting sites to creating and editing new tasks to paying with Metamask, everything is simply done and your project can go live in lesser than 10 minutes I think.

2. You're not missing much for now. As I said in the previous task, Crowdclick would have to go live before I (or we) determine other problems.

3. Nothing for now. Changes might come in the future.

I am completely fine with it and there is nothing I would like to be changed.

I like that the page is clean and simple. But the font seems somehow too small for me, and I have 24" monitor (running at 1920×1080 resolution). Maybe increase it's size for one or two pixels?

Did you consider adding short explanatory video on the page? It could be of a great use to user and help to explain him what it is all about.

I have also added claps and posted a comment above on Medium ;)

Thanks! actually our designer of the team has started the storyboard for the video. So it's part of the plan. Regarding the font size, as it's a mockup, you do need to zoom a bit on it so the page fits the entire screen, then the size will look according to your 24" as it would be on the web. But if you did do that, I'll take a look closer and consider your font size recommendation. Cheers for the claps and the comments on Medium :)
