So you want to learn a new language?

Millions of people are researching every day to find an app or a place to learn a new language. Various apps supply approaches to getting vocabulary repetitions and provide an understanding of tenses, conjugations and how vocabulary is applied. The main issues or struggles come when these features become too repetitive, the sense of progress is fading away and the leap into active practice of conversation is not taken.

The Kaizen Theory

It’s hard to be consistent when you have a long-time project like learning a foreign language but yet this is the key to success, which is why we keep stressing Kaizen. Kaizen is a Japanese word which can be translated as “Continuous Improvement”. The best way to reach your goal is to start using a better and more efficient method paired with exciting content and thoughtful assessments.

wiwildo’s unique features:

  • Offline dictionaries - Our real-time lookup automates word definitions and saves you time.

  • Focused verb conjugation - Ah, those tricky conjugations. Don’t worry we give you a great overview and repetition will make you a champion fast.

  • Matching interesting content - Broad selection of interesting topics. Always something inspiring to watch which makes you memorize learnings.

  • No stress zone - Watching great informative content will kill two birds with one stone.

I checked out the website and it seems the platform has some unique selling points that could make it stand out among its peers when it eventually launches. The platform's interface looks aesthetic as well, I must confess. I can only wish the team good luck and yea, I will be taking advantage of the 1-month free access.

My first impression of the product and website is positive. If I came across something like this, I probably would go ahead and try it out. Even though I'm not particularly familiar with Kaizen, I feel I have a felt sense of it from your description. I find myself saying, well it makes sense to me. On the other hand, after reflecting on what I saw on the website, my impression is that I don't understand what it does or how it works. The library of videos looks a little daunting and don't really show me anything about how I'll be learning a new language. The description, "WIWILDO EXTRACTS GRAMMATICAL KNOWLEDGE FROM QUALITY VIDEO CONTENT," reminds me of a chrome extension I came across a while back that would gradually replace words from web content with another language. I'm wondering, is this is the same approach? If so, that seemed like a great way of learning because it just overlays a new language on a typical daily activity -- as long as it doesn't get too annoying. Anyway I'll try it out when released, and look forward to giving more feedback on crowdholding.

Learning a language is like building a house. You always start with basement. You always start with basic words and basic sentences. So I can imagine drawing or some simple video to help in the process. Kaizen theory doesnt seem new. We all build up on what we know. Have not seen application but it is important that application measure progress and hints what should be done next. In general could be good application but need to see in practise.

Wiwildo is so great very unique site, It is easy to access and more features to learn. It's very useful for a person who wants to learn language. Good job for the team behind this project.

The unique thing that sets them apart from most other apps, is the extra learning that's available through their tutors (which is included in the subscription). The tutors can answer those tough grammar questions that everyone has, give you extra resources, and will even assign and correct homework! This is a great program for a beginner or intermediate, with clear grammar explanations, vocabulary & script learning tools, and a lot of cool cultural insights that you don't get with most language programs. And of course, the professional tutors that know the material. The courses are broken down into small 15 to 20 minute sections to keep things interesting and to ensure you have enough time to study a little every day. They also use an algorithm that tracks your progress through the course, so your review topics are geared specifically to your needs.

This sounds great! Learning languages is great thing to do, as being multi-lingual is a great skill. When one makes learning fun, one is more likely to use it, and use it often, increasing comprehension. Excellent!

My first impression is good. Web site is simple but interesting enough to try it. Is the video supposed to work? It didn't for me. That would be helpful, as well as a demo. But I guess that's what a free trial is for. Looking forward to seeing the app.

Learning process are evolving following the development of new technology. The success of your project will be determined by the ability of content and educational methods to take advantage of new tecnology, content is always the key. I think every learning app, expecially for languages, should focus on very curated and coerent learning paths, otherwise it will be just a box full of unorganized content. Personally, i find the best to learn through step by step processes, setting short term targets that can be accomplished without losing enthusiasm. If you see results constantly growing your commitment to the learning process will stay high.

This is something which strikes a chord with me. My wife is not a native English speaker and i have tried on several occasions to improve my use of her native tongue. I have tried apps, cds, online classes and I have to say that the reason i stopped without exception is that they were boring! Now 'boring' that's not a very helpful term as it is very subjective and pretty vague but let me elaborate. Most apps and language classes use repetition of words in one type of format ad normally abut one subject. OVER AND OVER AND OVER again! and it soon becomes pretty tiresome and feels very classroom like. Now i guess there are some people who might learn well that way but i think many do not. The Wiwildo app seems to offer something different, a variety of subjects in various formats to keep the learning process interesting. Im not an expert but id say that the majority of people who give up on learning languages do so because it becomes more of a chore than fun and to borrow the old cliche - Learning should be fun. Wiwildo looks like it might make the process a bit more interesting by the use of videos etc to break up the learning process into a more entertaining all round experience and if it does that then they might just have something. oh....by the way. you spelled 'hassle' wrong on your web page. Sorry but not a great first impression for a language app.

my opinion the important thing is to have tutorial for different dialect, because there are a lot of apps teaching you language but none are doing the dialect, which is the important thing when you want to learn a language which is spoken in multiple countries but dialects are different.,but its good

I try a lot apps to learn and improve new language. All is based on a not optimal structure where you could learning long on time step by step. I like your idea of this project because you add a lot of features like Offline dictionary that can help during my vacation. Also i like so much your focus on verb conjugation. This is great if you want learn better a new language. Good work guys ;)

I don't know... I've been learning naturally for a long time. Fast isn't better. My first impression is that this is just another money making attempt with a "Do it fast" mentality. There are tons of this type of app in the stores, many from people who only know one language. Even worse, apps made by people who only know "tourist speak". I would have to know a lot more about your credentials before I can be more positive. Will you guys be successful? Only time will tell.

Current language learning apps are very popular in app stores – and are said to be revolutionizing language learning. These apps offer opportunities to practice grammar and can be a very rewarding way to learn vocabulary. But there has been a discussion about just how effective such apps can be – particularly when it comes to other skills such as writing and speaking... As formal language teaching has moved towards more communicative approaches to language learning, learners are turning to such apps where they can make mistakes in a private setting. I think bringing this concept to the blockchain environment is really important. I really liked the website outline, the fonts and the colors.

i like two features about wiwildo , first one is no stress zone , and the second one absolutely for the offline dictionaries, i had test any learning app , and get stuck when i'm not in network coverage area , sometimes we need to learn in any place , any time and any situation , i think the offline features is a non stress zone builder.

many poor apps has made languages learning unfriendly, I hope you will be able to change this and make learning a fun process

Naturally is great to have a great language apps that we can learn to master other languages but if to pay for it then I will somehow be unpopular amongst us. Language app is not only for adults, its also good for children to learn. Thus I would hope that the creator considers making it a free app. Certainly it will be thumbs up from community if it were offer free

Yeah this was not the first language app. The website is fine though but it only offer 1 month free. But after that it will be a charge for using it definitely and it may not augur well to the community at large. Many of us are expecting a free of charge apps in our daily life. I don't think it will be a hit if it were to be a paid apps Overall its a good app indeed. Just hope it could be simplified.

But if it offers advanced learning technics for free, then Send me a downloading link. I don't mind the extra adds.ahahaha If not, i think its a waste, there are already a bunch of learning apps free of charge.

I have been using some language app in the past but I think this new innovative would make my journey much more faster, this is a good project and just like to survive like every other project it needs consistency and also a good customer relationship so as to be able to update its services to the needs of the public and thus increasing its reach and also its value. The aspect I like here is the offline dictionary because I think that it will go a long way to help those persons that don't have regular access to the internet to be able to use the product efficiently and also to make out much value. will be expecting this product lunch good work, keep it up.

When will your application starts? I would download it if there is an app right now and make my search in the application. When you go live you need to use many language (at least 10). With the right management this project would be successful.

Kaizen is the Japanese word for "improvement" and you made good decision for using that in your project. As far as i see the website is not completed, there is no youtube video on the tab. I also checked your social media accounts and saw that it is new and have only few followers. You should give importance to all social media specially you need to have telegram channel. Because if a user want to konw/ask something on telegram there would be fast response. At the end of the day i liked your project, it is unique and would work in big time if there is good development.

There are already many applications for language learning or to increase the vocabulary of foreign languages.you need to expand the field of your theory a little more. I couldn't see if there was information about grammarPlease inform me about this. offline dictionary is a necessary feature to quickly translate some words. In some cases it will prevent time loss. But there is a truth in language learning! If you don't use the language you learn in the day, you're doomed to forget. Perhaps you can add a speaking assistant feature to your application.   Thus, the daily sentences can be practically spoken. Good luck.

Don't listen to me because of who I am, I'm nobody like everone else.

My first impressions are very positive indeed! I tried to learn Romanian using Duolingo; that's a free app so perhaps its an unfair comparison for them, but I did have that experience of feeling like I was no longer making progress, then using it less and less because of that until I eventually accepted that I'd given up. Using videos to learn is and awesome idea that would really help me! I found that a lot of what I learned from the app was not actually as similar as you would think to the way people really talk in that language, so hopefully listening to people speak would be very helpful. Also the repetitive verb conjugation is excellent. In duolingo its just a rolling test - they introduce new things to you by asking you questions and never actually teach you anything first. That's fine for the simpler things like learning basic vocabulary, but for grammar and more complicated stuff I never knew why I was getting things wrong so never really learned anything. I notice other people are saying there should be more info on the website. I'm not totally sure I agree, I think its good to keep it simple, but I would like to know what languages you will offer. I'm not familiar with Kaizen itself, but it sounds good! I just hope you have the Romanian language, because I know its not going to be one of the most popular ones.

Actually all I have to say is that if you believe in the Kaizen theory you're good to go.

I love it especially the app design. I have been to learning Spanish through spanishdict and its totally free for the most part that I have used. there isn't much explanatory info on your website. I don't know how your packages are but in order to beat competition, it must be clear what customers are paying for. Its not a unique project but i love the simplicity of your website (though it has less information) and the fact that you have or intend to build an app. with a few details explained, we should be good to go. It definitely looks better than what I am using now. I hope i can say the same about the content when i try it.

If the young’s can learn another languages very fast, for not so young people is quite hard specially if you need to do it quickly to apply for a new job or a new partner comes in. So, take me as example I think it’s a great idea and very helpful app.

This seems to be awesome app but you need to add more information in your site too. I like the Idea and very welcomed it we need to learn many languages of course. The offline dictionary will be the golden idea for your project and app, so we can save money for the internet to access the ditionary.

Don't forget to use your upvotes. You will earn from that too.

The website itself isnt providing very much information, but all the details are on Medium. So thats fine, but there are some things that really need on the website, like whivh coins you gonna connect to, or are you creating your own. Dont forget a definitive whitepaper as some people really need to see it lol. A timeline on the site give a good overview what goals you need to achieve and in what stage the project is. The project itself, i like the idea very much, cool ideas. There are indeed many ways to learn something and different people have different needs to be able to learn something . Thats where you guys come to help😀 . Website says you will get rewarded for watching the videos. Cut that reward in half and give the other half sfter succesful making a progress test. I think this will help you by having users attached longer, and users will be motivated. The option for the offline dictionary is a great one. Very useful of those excluding Google from their life and when on vacation it can definitely prevent roaming costs when searching for translation of an info sign or the menu in a restaurant. Great start, im curious how it will progress. I will follow this and most likely become a user myself.

GREAT APP!!! I think it is a very very welcome app. There are tons of language learning apps but yours have some key point that gets it out of the ton. Offline dictionaries today i think it's a must...so +1 point for that and +1 point for matching interesting content allowing us to memorize learnings perhaps associating what we need to learn with something that remembers us that content. I cannot see a FAQ section in your website, i think this is a must too and i realize too that website has very poor information regarding some key topics like: ammount of languages available and price fees, but it has a very nice and cool design. Finally i can say this is a very interesting project and 1 month for free is a very good incentive to all of us in order to test your upcoming app. Keep it up and good luck!!!!

This seems great! As someone currently trying to learn Spanish, I'm actually curious and excited to try it out. I hope Spanish is available though. The 1 month free would definitely help so we can see what this really is about and whether this really works for us. I may have encountered some app or website that does similar to what you do, but I hope you could edge them with your implementation and I hope you could make it interesting. There are a lot of language learning apps out there, so we'll see if your features would make you stand out. Good luck!

I have not yet encountered a language project with the same approach (Kaizen). Not much information is available on the website and other social media. Is there a white paper? Which languages will be available? This will require enormous storage capacity and bandwidth. Is this taken into account? How is the application offered (Mobile / PC / Mac)? What will the price be and is this per language or a fixed price for all languages? A lot of questions but an interesting project. Website looks good. I'm curious about additional info.
